NWPC-Mendocino member Wendy Roberts is running for Fifth District Supervisor. Roberts has a long history of public service, community involvement and leadership, as well as a strong business background. She faces a tough election as she is up against three well-known politicians.

She recently earned the endorsement of the Ukiah Daily Journal which stated, “We like Roberts. We like her straightforward attitude that local government needs reinventing. We like her idea that the county ought to be looking to preserving some services through local non profits rather than continuing to try to maintain expensive county staff. And she sees clearly how the county’s debt will sink us if it’s not dealt with quickly and effectively.”
