Karen Humphrey, president of Sacramento NWPC, has been a Caucus member since 1979. NWPC helped her win two terms on the Fresno City Council and one term as Fresno’s first woman Mayor.  Karen began her career as a TV news reporter.  After leaving public office, she worked at the California Department of Education and the California Postsecondary Education Commission, from which she retired in 2011 as Executive Director.
