2008 State Conference  

The weekend will kick off on Saturday, May 3rd with the Quarterly State Board Meeting at 2pm, followed by a Saturday evening reception with the Mentors, Leaders and Role Models on the NWPC-CA Roster of Honor as the invited guests of honor.   On Sunday, May 4 we'll have a full agenda of panels and workshops, candidates and favorite electeds. 

Sunday May 4 will be jam packed, breakfast through evening buffet dinner, with guest speakers including Erika Alexander, TV Star and Gen C representative; Assemblymember Patty Berg, Legislative Women's Caucus Chair; Secretary of State Debra Bowen; Senate Majority Leader Gloria Romero, Wendy Greuel, Los Angeles City Mayor Pro-Tem; in addition to a panel of leaders from sister organizations speaking on common goals; and many of our endorsed candidates from city council to federal races.  We will also have workshops on effective lobbying and hot legislative issues in preparation for Monday's lobby day, and a political appointments workshop. 

On Monday we will head to the Capitol for an informative and exciting morning of meetings and lobbying.  This is a great opportunity to meet Sacramento movers and shakers.  Our thanks to NWPC-Capitol Caucus for making the Lobby Day arrangements.
