NWPCCA, in conjunction with the Women’s Caucus of the California Democratic Party, the Newport Beach Democratic Women’s Club, Planned Parenthood, AAUW, OC NOW, UNIFEM and Women for Orange County will be hosting a Women Candidates Training in Newport Beach on September 18th. How to Raise the Money You’ll Need to Run an Effective Campaign
Developing a Messaging that Resonates with Voters
How to Get Your Message Out to the Press and to Voters Using Conventional Methods as well as New Media
Although the trainers are from the Democratic Party, the training includes information that can be used by any female candidate running for office or wanting to work on any political campaign.
Lunch will include a panel of elected women who will discuss what it took to win, what they wished they would have known ahead of time and how you can be most helfpul to other female candidates.
